Do they support your dreams or do they doubt your ability? Can they teach you anything useful and/or empowering? Yes, all fashionistas add at least 4 or 5 pieces of the newest (or resurrected) styles to their wardrobe each season but lets be real; most working women simply cannot afford to pay $700 for a pair of pumps.
Its true that you get what you pay for, but its also true that "designer" clothes/shoes may be marked up 1000% over their wholesale price. Which brings up the question of what is true value? What makes one orange jersey sweater sell for $75 vs. another one (with a different label) costing $350?
